Looking For Houston Real Estate / Construction Attorney

Hi All,

I am looking for recommendations for a Real Estate attorney in Houston TX. We are working on a 7-unit deal where the seller (Family office investor) will finance a portion of the purchase price and rehab costs on the property. Interesting part is, the seller wants to operate as the GC on the Rehab to sweeten the deal (they have a construction & development business). We aren't opposed to doing so but don't know how to work this into the docs or any legalities we may be missing.

Originally we wanted to stick to the standard TAR commercial contract and AIA construction contract. May need some additional documentation considering this structure.

Any recommendations are helpful.

Thanks!

Something about that just doesn't add up. Let me know if you want to talk more.
