LLC - "principal office address"

When creating an LLC, do most people use their primary residence(where you yourself sleep) as the principal office address?

I'm going to have a lawyer set it up. I was wondering if I could use their address, or if I have to use mine. I just don't want renters looking me up and stopping by.

Thanks

There are so many ways to find people anymore it's ridiculous. I just used my house. The neighborhood knows I'm a landlord. They also know to leave me alone. True story, one scumbag that an idiot landlord in the neighborhood let move in mentioned to my tenant that he was thinking of breaking into my place. The tenant told him pick someone else, you won't get out of Tim's place alive.

If you want anonymity you need separate LLCs for your properties and your management companies with the mgmt company LLC listing the office as the address and your tenants' interaction to be limited to the management company.
