Wholesale Agreement/ Reassignment

Q: If I were to have a cash buyer and a property ready to be matched right now and I am the wholesaler, how to I go about signing the contract? What contract is used? Will the selling realtor have the correct docs or would I have to have one drawn up? It may seem very trivial for those of you who have been doing this but I am looking to do my first deal and the only reason I haven’t yet is because I’m not sure once the offer is accepted what document I need to sign since it isn’t going to be a standard purchase for myself.

@Charlie MacPherson That phrase refers to an agency relationship... which doesn’t exist when you are buying and selling on your own account.

Beyond that, read up on the concept of equitable interest. It may have been on your RE exam.
