Legal/tax ideas needed

Hi I have several properties in Arizona and one in utah, my LLC structure is kind of a mess. My personal home in Arizona and the rental in Utah is in my wives name. Other properties here in Arizona are either in one LlC's name that I use as a flow through entity for taxes and also is used for my other business, and two of the properties have their own Ll c's. I would need to find a way to create an LlC for the property in Utah and the one that is my own personal home and transfer them to their own llC's. Then according to the advice I have received I need to create a managing LlC that takes rent jacks, does maintenance, and deals with tenants etc, so the actual home owning LLC's aren't on the hook if my managing LlC does something wrong. I know it sounds like a crazy mess but I basically would like to add a couple of layers of protection to my properties and would like to see if anyone had any ideas and the best way to do it, and whether I should call an attorney or do it myself. I have in the past set up my own LlC's so that's not a problem, but I do not know how to organize a structure to have the managing LlC's be the one that has no assets and would be the one under threat of a lawsuit etc. If any one has dealt with this before or has a good idea who to call please let me know thanks in advance.
