My Grandmother left me a house
Hi all!
My grandmother has recently passed away and left me the family house. I’ve been trying to find stuff on how to switch be deed over into my name but the information seems so spaced out. Can someone please provide some guidance. The home is in NYC. Thank you for the help!

Was the house in a trust, did your grandmother have a will, or is this now in probate. If you find any estate planning documents take them to the attorney who wrote them if possible, they will be able to give you the best explanation.
