Contracts for room renting

I'm in the process of buying my first property and plan on house hacking by renting out the extra rooms. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to make this as legitimate as possible. I'm looking for recommendations for a contract and a decent screening process for future tenants. Thanks in advance guys!

I'm doing the exact same thing, and my first roommate just made their first rent payment to me via Venmo today. I started a free trial on LawDepot in order to draft my lease, and then cancelled once I was done (otherwise it's like $40/month).

For screening roommates, I met them for a drink in the city, had them over to see the place, etc. I then ran credit checks, confirmed their employment status, and asked for recent pay stubs. One person verbally committed, and then once I sent them a link for the credit check, they backed out and finally told me their credit is terrible. I'm 25 and very laid back, so they must have assumed that this would be a casual arrangement, and they seemed thrown off once I mentioned the credit check,
