Having an LLC and collecting unemployment

Hi everyone, looking for feedback..

I am a union electrician in NJ with 2 rental properties that I may transfer into an LLC (or perhaps a partnership). In the event I get laid off, can I collect unemployment with this type of business income (being a member of the LLC with my wife) owning rental properties? Just looking for any help before any entity is created... Thanks. Justin
