Schedule C or E
Hello,
I own 2 rentals and was wondering where to add my mileage expenses for deductions? Is it going to be under Schedule C or E ? Besides, I had received a 1099 NEC from a realtor i had used to purchase a property .He basically had shared his commission with me since I did all the leg work of finding the property . So can I add the mileage in schedule C for this? Meaning commuting to go see and finding a property. Would that fall under Schedule C ?
if yes, then I can add mileage in both E ( for rentals) and C ( for 1099 NEC). Please advice
