Litigation against Property Management Company

Alam Virk
Posted

In October 2020, I found a property management company to manage a rental property for me in Statesville, NC.

I handed them a completely renovated property to manage.

Now in November 2022, they are saying they will no longer manage this property for me going forward and returning it to me completely trashed and in need of $18,000 worth of work to get it rent-ready again. That is more than the 2 years worth of rental income from the property.

I would like to get some advice from an attorney with going over the contract between me and the management company and seeing if there is a case for litigation against this property management company.

My name is Alam.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can guide me in the right direction.

You should call a local attorney. Try using Google.

The PM should have been inspecting this property.
