Does anyone have any recommendations on the best bookkeeping strategy or service.  I have 7 properties and some short term rentals and this is currently the bane of my existence

Hey @Razul Wallace! I'm a real estate investor and own a bookkeeping & CFO firm that purely serves real estate investors. I've been exactly where you're at myself with my own portfolio.

There's a lot to discuss here. Your financial account structure depending on what your entity structure looks like; your transaction flow; what software you are currently using if any; how involved you want to be with your accounting above the minimum involvement; how you plan to grow your portfolio and making sure your books are set up to facilitate that growth; if you have any FLIPS those transactions are accounted for with a different method than your rentals; etc etc etc

I'm sure you don't want to unpack all of those nitty-gritty details on this thread. If you have specific questions I'm here to help.

I hope this helps!
