I'm wanting to purchase and rehab or build in rural Ga but would like to talk to a good loan officer who can let me know if the location and me qualify for a USDA loan? Thank you so much.

Hi Michelle,

I can certainly help you determine if the properties you're looking into are in the USDA eligible zones. That being said, income limits will also apply when exploring the USDA loans.

Is this still applicable? I'm looking for USDA loan options as well.

@Aaron Sweat you can certainly use these forums to search.  You can also just click on the "Lenders" at the top of this page and a lender will reach out to you.  You can also ask your realtor who is helping you look for properties who their preferred lender is.  And you can try some local real estate meetup groups. Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Even facebook might have some good local groups for you. Some of those facebook groups have thousands of members. Eventbrite too.

Hope some of those help.

Hi Michelle,

How much funding would you need for the build?

Be sure to check the program household income limits for your county as well.

Hi Michelle,

What price point would you be targeting on this purchase?
