The pros & cons of lender consistency

Hi All,

Do some/most investors use the same lender time and time again if they have a good experience with said lender? i.e. do investors generally try to build a relationship with a certain lender and will this have any long term beneficial impact on lender trust/ rates with the investor?

Any input will be helpful! Please share your experiences (good/bad)
