Closing Attorney Recorded Lien on Wrong House
I refinanced a rental last year. With rates so low, I am refinancing it again along with my primary residence. Underwriting for the new refinances has found that the closing attorney recorded the lien on my primary residence instead of the rental. So my rental has no lien and my primary has two. Underwriting wants this resolved.
The closing attorney and his office are not returning calls. I don't even know if they are still in business. Any ideas on remedy?

Call the title insurance company or lender on your primary. They can help. Should be a simple release and record.
