(HELP) Quicken Loans Did Not Get Lien Release From Previous Owner
I found out this week (when I was about to sell) that a home I financed with Quicken Loans 5 years still has the lien from the previous owner. QL paid the person before getting a release and left it up them to just get it done whenever.
I did not know this was even possible. QL has told me that it's not their problem in the recorded convo parts you can hear below.
The past and as I know now current / lien holder along with QL is a 89 year old man that when I called him is not in any shape to deal with this and does not even remember who I am or the home.
What do you suggest I do?

@Marco Grier If you bought owners title insurance simply make a claim and let everybody scramble to resolve the matter.
You don't hire your own attorney because defense/prosecution costs for matters such as this are covered by the policy.
If you didn't buy owners coverage, report back.
