My husband has been on 1099 type race returns for almost 2 years come January. I have heard you have to have 1099 for 2 years? And I just started a new Job a little while ago. We are looking at a 5 unit property and need financing. We have not been able to find partners or individual investors (even though we have been successfully land lording for 2 years). We payed cash for our first deal on a duplex 2 years ago and the house we live in now, so We are inexperienced with loans but have run the numbers on this deal and it will be very profitable even with a mortgage. I don't want to go to a bank clueless and ask for a loan. What do I do? Where do I start?
