Choosing a lender

Account Closed
Posted

I am looking for a lender to finance my first real estate purchase. I intend to buy a small multi-family using low money down, owner occupant financing since I will be living in one unit. There are a lot of lenders out there (especially since I am able to use "traditional" financing and have good credit), and I am  trying to determine the best way to choose a lender. Any tips on how to find a good lender and competitive interest rate without having your credit pulled multiple times?

I am in the Dallas area by the way if anyone has any particular lender recommendations.
