How to get pre-approved without a 9-5 job?
I just left my job of 3 years (was a very tough and very painful decision) because I was on the process of purchasing my 1st ever real estate property (a primary residential), I just got my pre-approval letters from 4 lenders, we were just waiting for my transfer letter from the company I was working for, money was ready, been talking to agents, been looking at houses, etc.
I’m planning to reapply. Question is, if I can’t have someone to co-sign with me in my loan application, do I need to go find a full time 9-5 job and stay with it for 2 years in order to get pre-approved again? I’m not sure if these count as sources of income, I have retirement and investment accounts and still have my part time job.
Thanks in advance for your insights.
