Canada LLC per rental unit

Question for the Canada crowd:

I have two residential rental units, under my name. At what point do i make an LLC?

I keep hearing everyone in USA has an LLC / entity per unit incase something goes wrong. Not sure if its the same in canada or what.

There is no such thing as an LLC in Canada. You could use a Corp or LP. But putting each unit into a separate entity is overkill

As mentioned Canada does not LLCs. Some investors will have Corporations that own properties however it limits your financing options.
