Capital gains (aka, money for nothing)
Let's say you make a profit of 100k on the sale of your home. You pay 6% to a realtor for the sale. You are left with 94k. Later on when you have to pay capital gains, are you paying 20% (capital gains) on the 100k or the 94k?
