Good morning everyone,

I am looking for a new fridge for my resident.

I don't want to spend over $1300, but I my budget is from $600-$1300 and I don't want to buy an expensive fridge too here if the residents

damage the fridge it would

depreciate in value.

What do you guys recommend?

This is the basic model that's been very good to us. Frigidaire, Haier, Kenmore, all sell the same basic design in 18 cubic ft. models. I have about ten of these in service right now. Because the back is a sheet of aluminum with some MDF protecting the pump at the bottom, you can put these fridges on their backs to transport them in an minivan or SUV. Then stand them up and wait thirty minutes before you turn them on again. I've seen them take some serious abuse in transport and storage and come right back. And they keep trucking on. My oldest in service is at least 15 years old.
