Earthquake Insurance in Memphis?

Dan P.
Posted

Hi Everyone! I’m looking to purchase an investment property in Memphis and want to make sure I’m properly insured. When discussing insurance with a local agent, they were adamant that I should consider earthquake insurance. The quote was $290/year with a 10% deductible. I want to protect my investment but don’t want to unnecessarily cut into my cash flow. Do you believe that earthquake insurance is a smart expense in Memphis?
