Birmingham AL Market Trends

Ryan Boltman
Posted

Ok folks i have heard the Birmingham AL market is booming right now, and then i hear there is going to be a drop off toward the end of this year and it will just keep sliding from there. I am in the real-estate game for cashflow (Hence why i like Birmingham) so i am not too concerned about appreciation (Although its always welcomed bonus). Does anyone out there have any resources, connection or even opinions on what will happen in the the next 6month to a year in the Birmingham Market?

@Ryan Boltman Real estate agent and investor from Birmingham here. The Birmingham real estate market is definitely hot right now. We have a very low inventory like every other city across the country it seems. There is some new construction going on here but with rising cost of materials and meet every persistent headache of building codes sales of older properties are going to stay up in my opinion.

Cash following properties are pretty easy to find if you know where to look. There are a lot of value add opportunities in the neighborhoods to the east of Birmingham. We are investing in Woodlawn, East lake, roebuck springs, Crestwood, Forest Park, and Irondale.

There’s a large Amazon facility being established in Bessemer the downtown area which is super cool and waiting to be revitalized.

Shoot me a DM if you’d like to nerd out about it some more.
