I’m very new to real estate investing but after driving for dollars I have several leads for yellow letters/direct mail campaign. Any advice on the topic? I hand wrote several letters on legal pad paper and dropped them in the mail for my first batch but was considering typing the next batch and possibly including a picture of myself for a personal touch but wasnt sure? I am local to my target market and was curious as to what others have had the most success with?

Replied

@Logan Blanton Consistency is key and where so many people go wrong and end up failing. Think about it, why do we see the same Geico, Budweiser, Chevrolet, etc. commercials over and over? No legitimate brand or company would pay for just one 30 second commercial and that be the end of their campaign. It's no different for real estate investors, if you're going to do any kind of marketing to find deals, you need to have repetition and be consistent. Also, making yourself stand out is huge because more than likely, the people you're mailing to are getting mail from other investors as well. What will make them open your letter? I like adding a picture of yourself, it humanizes you and creates an immediate connection. Let me know if you have any other questions, good luck!
