Part Time Agent
I am thinking about getting my license to facilitate my own purchases. However, I think my pace of buying properties will be more like one per every two years rather than one per year. The fee for the license and required classes are not too high, buut the monthly fees for MLS access are kind of high. I suppose I could hold my license and just subsribe to the MLS when I am in buying mode.
However, I was thinking it would be cool to stay plugged in to the market between purchases and wouldn't mind making a little extra cash. I think if I sold just one or two deals a year as an agent, that would more than make up for the expense of holding the license.
I would only have time do do my RE work on the weekends and evenings. How realistic would it be to work part time as a RE agent?
