Bank Comparisons
I am new here and looking for advice from some veterans. Previously I ran retail businesses and needed banks with branches where my stores were (in Northern Virginia). Unfortunately, the branch needs led me to dealing with a large bank with lots of fees. I negotiated most of those fees down due to my volume of business with them. (They have been good to work with over the years)
Now, I have sold that business and will not have the negotiating power. I was wondering if anyone on here has found a good tool to compare banks. I know I can visit them to find out their fees, etc., but that seems terribly inefficient. I am looking in the Northern Virginia and Sarasota areas.
I am also open to online banks if any of you have good experience with them. It is hard to know how a bank will be without using them.
I am not worried about loans right now- probably will be in the near future- but just daily needs for both personal and rental real estate.
Thanks for any assistance!
