Social Security and income limitations.

My wife and I are trying to convince my mother in law of the benefits of seller financing her home to a pair of investors that we work for. She was on board and then this morning, after she spoke with a realtor friend, she is under the impression that she will have negative repercussions with her Social Security income if she does sell her property. My wife and I are in Real Estate and Property Management in Chattanooga, TN and have not heard of anything like this before. Anyone with experience or guidance? Thanks!
