My banker justold me about a SMALL house for sale next to her house. I havent been in it but by the outside I would guess three to maybe four hundred feet.

Is this a bad market? A small family couldnt rent it due to size so is this a bad idea?

I can buy it for 15000 or less and rent it for 350.00 tops.

Ideas,thoughts

The small house movement has started to take hold in several areas of the country. If you think about it, if you were in market for a small studio apartment for yourself would you rather live in an apartment complex or have your own house with its own yard etc. Some people would with the apartment due to the amenities and some would go for the privacy. If you feel that there is a market to rent this unit and the return fits your criteria then I would pursue it.

I have a few very small houses (not quite this small) and I love them. When the tenant moves out they are really easy to clean and re-rent. There is not much space to stockpile junk and they paint and carpet quickly.
