Should I follow up with people with bad leads or just ignore them?

Good morning everyone, I recently sent out my second batch of letters and received a lot of phone calls. Most of them are angry home owners who are telling me to take them off my list. I heard from a lecture that you should still contact them and thank them for their time for responding to you, you  never know what you might get.

What is your opinion on this?
