I got a few questions for direct mail. I have learned the drive for dollars strategy, but as far as getting a list for direct mail where do I go? Also what would be a professionally written example of a letter when your looking for deals.

Use a google voice number tied to your cell phone. You want the area code to match the area code where you are marketing. You want these letters to get opened and read. If they look like throw a away mail, well that is exactly what will happen to it. Hand written letters or at least the envelopes usually get opened.

Direct mail is all about consistency. 1000 letters might get you 2 calls. It is all about being the letter they open when they are finally ready to do something.

Then its your job to seal the deal after that.

at the bottom of my letters I write:

I do not like to come across like a business. I like to come across as an individual who is specifically interested in their property.
