Grant Funding

I am interested to know if anyone here has ever used Fedral Grant money to finance the aquisition and redevolpment of large multi-unit run down buildings. If so, would you be interested in sharing that Grant with me so that I may learn a little more about the process for this. I am looking into something like a block grant. I have read some info on how to structure the actual grants, but am looking to read a grant that was actaully funded and successful.
