Looking up Address!!!

Hi I have been going out everyday and finding 20 to 30 vacant distressed properties and I am trying to figure out the best way to look up the owner's information. I know I can go down the the county office once a week and pull information but is there an easier way to do it from home that won't kill the bank account?

Anything will help, thank you!!!

The normal way to do it is property tax records online.  Are you talking about Sacramento County?  If so this the site.

Please note this is a deep link.  If it does not work directly go to this site and "accept"

@Jerod Williams  Sorry I just noticed your county has a worse system than most.  Because they do not want to separate out who is an elected official and who is not they do not tell any of the home addresses.  You have to call the number listed on the page.

Either become friends with an agent or pay an agent :)

This is the first time I've seen that site, and this awesome!

It may not list the owner, but it does list the legal square footage and where it comes from. I work in the old neighborhoods, and this is really useful to determine what additions have been permitted/grandfathered as living space and what hasn't!
