Hi BP Forums!!

I am young, I will actually be 20 years old tomorrow (august 5th), and I don't have much money. I work at a pretty cool job, and I'm also an independent business owner with a company where I make money by helping people enhance their lifestyles, however, I do not have much money to spend for this... I have my own apartment, car, business, office, etc. So I do have bills right now, if I could just get some things going I could focus on real estate, trading, and my business and not have to work the 9-5 I have.

I know there are very experienced people on here in this industry, I was hoping someone would maybe reach out to me, and steer me in the right direction.

I am currently seeking my license, and wanting to know about absentee owner homes and things of that nature that might be a little easier and cheaper to start.

Though, I'm sure some of these concepts may be a little frustrating and hard to learn, but I am 1000% ready to DIVE in, the correct way of course, and commit myself to seeing this through, AND WITH SUCCESS.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Connect with me, message me, or even follow me.

Byt the way, I am in Kentucky (unfortunately), and it doesn't seem like there are many opportunities here as it is.

Any, and I do mean ANY, responses will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Asia.

@Account Closed is correct and the local REIA is a great place to be. However, right here on BP is where you can get all the experience and information you could ever need. There are free mentoring programs out there as well. You should seek them out.

Don't let your age discourage you. You can get experience and learn faster than any other generation in history thanks to the internet. You got age on your side and have plenty of time to be successful. Kentucky has REI opportunities just like everywhere else in the country. You just might have to look a bit harder and be more creative.

What license are you getting? If it is your agent license then why do you think you need one? IMO at your stage you could get some knowledge from having it, but it probably isn't worth the time or money. Do you want to trade in your 9-5 job for an agent 9-5 + job?

Things you should focus on are:

  • Work on making your credit the best it can be
  • Network
  • Learn as much as you can on BP
  • Save up money
