I was looking for any information on the flipping market in Indianapolis, is it a buyers market or a renters market. How is the purchase to rent to sell market, what would be your average hold time to convert a filp. What are the best and worst areas in and around Indianapolis???

@Derrick Britt Indy has been a hot sellers market for over a year now and, as mentioned above, it can be a challenge to find ANYTHING to flip here.

With nearly 70 transactions completed this year - I've only been able to find a handful that would considered a "flip" [buy, fix and sell to owner occupant].

I have to turn away several out of State buyers a week looking for this type of opportunity.

I have several investors that are successful in "flipping" rentals to other investors. Buy, fix & sell as a "rent ready or "turn key" SFH. Maybe this would be an alternative to retail flipping for you?
