Mid-Term Rentals Near Camp Pendleton: Seeking Advice on Getting Started

Hi everyone!

I own a single-family home right outside the USMC Camp Pendleton base, and I’m looking to explore the mid-term rental niche. I’ve heard about partnering with insurance companies for displaced families, working with military personnel in need of temporary housing, and possibly connecting with other organizations that require mid-term accommodations.

I tried reaching out to GEICO about insurance-related housing needs, but they didn’t seem to have a clear process.

Does anyone have experience with this niche? How do you connect with the right contacts or organizations to offer your property for mid-term rentals?

  • What’s the best approach to establish business-to-business contracts with insurance companies?
  • Are there specific military programs or contacts I should look into for housing opportunities?
  • Any tips on marketing or preparing a property near a military base for this kind of rental?
