Question for rental properties

Tommy Stark
Posted

How long do rental properties typically stay on market before they are occupied with a tenant? Lets assume B-C class neighborhood in Atlanta or surrounding towns. Is there a website that shows this kind of information publicly? thanks

@Tommy Stark

How long a property stays on the market depends on a lot of factors. What condition is the house in, what is the rent, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, how is the school system, how safe is the neighborhood, etc.

I recommend that you speak with several realtors that are familiar with the neighborhood or have sold properties in the neighborhood to answer your questions.

Good luck.

@Tommy Stark, as Bill noted above, many variables and factors affect the duration of a property remaining on the market. The short answer is supply and demand.

We can provide further insight if you have an actual zip code in mind. Moreover, the MLS is likely the best resource for such information.
