Updated 5 months ago,
This is my very first post. Hope I can get some insight about California AB 468
My question is, why isn't there a legal challenge against this law? It's unconstitutional. It's forcing landlord to pay for other people's medical conditions.
We all know about Biden administration's eviction moratorium, which was defeated in court. It robbed landlord to aid another group people. On same token, AB 468 should be defeated. Denying application because of pet is not about discrimination (man they abused this word so much), it's about who pays for the cleanup cost. If tenant won't pay, will government pay landlords?
And California also capped security deposit, thus literally robbing landlords by AB 468 that's faking human right issue.
If there is class lawsuit, I want to be the first to jump on.
But my question is, why landlords are so docile to this evil law?
I have rental property in California but I'm not California resident. That's why I really don't know what Californians are thinking. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you
