Finding Angel Investors

I have looked into multiple "Angel Investor" sites (invstr.com, pitchbook, askforfunding) as our company is growing and we need to secure funding before we turn loans away. Have you used these sites before? What do you think of them? Are they worth the monthly payments to gain access to Investor Names? We have tried word of mouth and it is slow.

Hi Omer I'm also curious about these sites, have you tried any of them?

I'm considering posting a development project on one of them for funding, but I'm not sure which one if any of these is worth it.

Yes, I have tried invstor.com which is a waste of money. They do not vet their investors who could have gone out of business years ago but their profile is still up. I paid for the smallest membership as a trial run and with that, you can only send out 3 emails a day through the website. So you could be wasting your time on investors who aren't even investing anymore and you don't get any actual contact information it is all through the site.

I also tried Ask for Funding but there were no replies to my messages. I had that subscription for about 2.5 months.

I have not tried Pitchbook, that one I have no opinion on.
