Short Term to Long Term

I'm curious who has taken their short term rental, turned it into a long term rental, and moved all of the stuff out. Did you take a big hit in terms of income, where did you store your stuff, and what are your plans going forward?

Quote from @Eda Clevenger:

Not answering exactly your question but you can rent it furnished long term. or a furnished finder to traveling nurses and business professionals. Usually those rents are a few months long. I have a listing now that is being sold furnished and if the seller doesn't get the price he wants he will just rent it out furnished long term.

The reason I ask this is because it's much more difficult to rent furnished units, at least here. A long term 12 month rent is difficult furnished because most pm don't take inventory of the items in the home and when something, like a TV or Couch, breaks the tenant expects the landlord to fix it. It becomes a headache for PM and Owner. I was wondering if anyone has stored their stuff and then started str again.
