Hi BP,

I am looking forward to invest in Texas. My strategy is buy & hold. I primary interested in between 4 - 12 units multifamily in a B or C area.

Having all the criteria equal, which city would give me the best return on my buck?

Any suggestions / thoughts appreciated.

@James Syed - the best return ties back to higher cap rate and more perceived risk. So if you're choosing between those three markets I'd say it's

    1. San Antonio

    2. Houston

    3. Austin

But, that's based on my personal knowledge of TX (where I'm from) and not data. Highly recommend doing an analysis via the resources @Giovanni Isaksen gave you. Although, as we all markets, there will be pockets that have higher cap rates. My ranking is just a generalization of the markets.
