Night Job to save more for Real Estate
Hey everyone,
Trying to generate some ideas for a friend of mine, basically he is wanting to find a job that has night shifts that he can use to save additional money for real estate.
Perhaps something that requires some certification / training and or a trade would be an option. He is in the DFW area if anyone is aware of some opportunities. Smart guy, younger, and has his undergraduates with honors used to have a day job as an analyst doing computer heavy work and some programming. Just trying to generate some alternatives to stocking shelves at Walmart for $8.50 an hour.
Thanks for helping me brain storm everyone!

Medical billing...
we have a young lady my wife uses with good computer skills that currently has 20 offices under contract. Most offices electronically file the patient 'day sheets' etc & she works from home & is 1099'd. The average office pays $600-$1500/month depending on patient volume & the number of providers.
The initial software cost can be high but hers is licensed to service up to 90 providers. But she started by traveling to the offices after hours & on weekends using their software. If your friend is proficient in software he should quickly absorb the training needed to bill the correct codes.
The ROI is huge if you can service medical offices efficiently & without the constant errors the avg $12/hr billing clerks create. Plus there is an audit trail that is effective in eliminating the temptation for embezzlement by the clerks. She offers a new office an audit to show how she can improve carrier reimbursements because of her intimate knowledge of the billing system that is fraught with errors & denials because of unmotivated poorly trained billing clerks.
Recently the demand for her services has increased with the realization that W-2 clerical staff are fast becoming just expensive overhead.
Worth a try & you wouldn't need too many offices part time to blow any mind numbing $12/hr night job away :)
