Hello everyone I am looking at a couple properties between Tampa and Lakeland FL for short term rentals. Does any one have an idea on current laws revolving around short term rentals. thank you

As others have mentioned, find out exactly where the property is located. Whether that's regulated by the county or a specific municipality will give you a better idea of who to reach out to. And as @Tyler Solomon mentioned, @Andrew Steffens is worth reaching out to. Best of luck.
