Trouble Renting SFH or MFH Properties After Thanksgiving in CLE

Hello,

I just made an offer on an SFH in Cleveland Heights and currently trying to rent out an SFH in Parma. The Parma house has been vacant for one month. My realtor was mentioning that renting places after Thanksgiving becomes hard because of the holidays and the weather (cold winter).

Do other experienced investors in the Cleveland market agree? Should I wait until Spring time to re-invest?

@James Wise

@Shane Kelly

@Aj Parikh

@Carla Kordab

Thanks,

Amir

renting at that time is  indeed  harder than most other times  ( weather / cold / holidays / middle of  school yr) .....resarch the surrounding  area vacancy  rates and  if their are  low rates -  renting  at any time  should be OK ....Maybe  offer a  good deal on a 6 month  lease  to get someone in and  then  re asses / revise  if needed come spring
