Convincing your Spouse to love RE like you do

How'd you do it? Or at least get them involved?

Quick backstory - I've somewhat been into investing since my mid 20s (the time most of us actually start making $ out of school lol) in the stock market - just long term index S&P 500 tracker type funds. Got into RE at about 28 after kind of wondering if there was more I could do and always being interested in it. Since then I've accumulated a few rentals, combo of MFH and SFH and found it to be pretty awesome honestly. Have things running pretty smoothly with a PM, legit LLC, bank accounts, became a RE agent in my home state...all that.

One thing I have not been able to do is get my SO involved. Our W2 jobs are very different and I could use her help significantly. I work out of the country for around half the year. She works a traditional 8-5. My gross income from RE has gotten close to her gross salary at his point. Our W2 incomes are very different as well, so it's created kind of this disconnect, especially lately. All investment properties are under my name completely, she's really had 0% involvement at this point.

I'm trying to get her involved, she can see the success it having for me, and I try explaining how much better it would be if we did it TOGETHER...but I just can't get the horse to drink.

How did you all do it, and how long did it take?!
