March Madness - Real Estate Edition!

Hello, BP!

I had this idea a few days ago to do my own "Real Estate March Madness" where I meet a different person involved in real estate investing every day for the month of March. These individuals can be other investors, realtors, mortgage brokers, or anybody else involved in REI. The primary goal right now is to start networking, but these connections may very well lead to working relationships as I look to purchase my first property this year.

I'm currently working on filling out my "brackets" for the first round (March 1-10) and will be reaching out to people via messages in the coming days. If you'd be willing to have a 30 minute call with me to talk about REI (or you know somebody I should reach out to), please don't hesitate to reach out directly or leave a comment! Everybody has an interesting story, and that includes you! :)

People I'm looking for right now (these are not requirements and will change over time!):

1. Other investors who are a few steps ahead of me but still relatively new (i.e., 1-10 rental units, a few flips under their belt, etc)

2. Realtors in the Ann Arbor / Metro Detroit areas who specialize in investment properties. It's never too early learn more about the markets!

3. Investors who got their start via house hacking. Bonus if there was an attempt at short-term rentals, either successful or unsuccessful.

If this idea inspires you to do something similar, leave a comment! We can support each other through our very own March Madness!

Thanks for reading!
