Getting Started in North Central Indiana!!!

Hello everyone! I have to say the last few days have been crazy weird! My wife is one of these lets not procrastinate on getting rid of odd things that you gather over the years types (thank god). So we have been listing things for sale and have done really well. We leave for Florida on Thursday for my wife's best friends wedding. After that the leash is off on us! We are putting the house on the market! I can't believe it never occurred to us to sell the house. I mean the reality of possibly going from 2k a month on the mortgage to sharing another property with other people, and having our side paid for is really hitting home. Just by doing this we are totally flipping the script! We need FI! I have been reading and listening to podcast's (can't thank you enough for this community by the way) honestly it's like waking up from the Matrix. What the hell were we doing? I am so grateful that we have Forest Gumped our way into having some nice start up capital and are in a more advanced position than we were 10 yrs ago. We have been into index funds for years but the progress has felt slow. We are all in! We are actually investing correctly. On purpose! One more thing, I want to thank all the nice folks that have reached out with offers of mentorship and possible business relationships. That has really meant a lot to us!
