Fema limits on rehab
We purchased a duplex in a beach community that needed rehabbing(one half had been demoed to studs) after purchasing and applying for permits we find that fema limits the rehab to 50% of the apparaised value of the house. This will not make both sides livable or rentable. Does anyone have experience with this? Is this a yearly limit in other words if I use all 50% in 2018 can I do more in 2019. Thanks, karen
