The thread followed @J Scott over the course of a year as he built a new construction spec home, and it had hundreds of posts. He shared the ins and outs of the project, including photos, receipts, and all the documentation imaginable.

We thought it might be a good idea to convert the thread into something more digestible, so we pulled out all the questions from other users and transformed it into an ebook that we're offering for free to all members of BiggerPockets.

AND, don't think the thread does anything but help him build his credibility as an investor....

You get what you put into this place and I know that J is one of the many that put their heart and soul in, and gets a TON back both on a personal and professional level.
