How did you find a mentor?

Listening to the BP podcast I hear them and their guests talk about their mentor. I've never found one in the 9 years I've been living-in/renovating and selling houses. The local REI group is just ok, mostly small businesses that support investors.. Either way I'm ready for building long term wealth, specifically in multifamily. Just curious where anyone else found a solid mentor. I definitely want to scoop up as many doors as fast as possible with a heavy focus on scalability. This is happening with or without a mentor but I'm certain a mentor would help speed up the process.
