Multi-Family Performance Data Relative to Equity Markets

Where does everyone gather market performance data from? I'm specifically looking for multi-family (apartments) performance over the past 50 yrs or so. I find tons of articles on it, but have had trouble finding source data. We'll use this in our marketing packages when approaching passive investors for syndication. I'm not looking to copy and paste from someone else deck. I appreciate any help!

@Chris Virgil-Stone 50 years is a long time, but I could see how that could be beneficial. Some good/free resources I use are city-data.com, best places.net, and census.gov. Zillow has good data as well. Neighborhood Scout has some good paid options, and you can try asking your realtor to supply you with a Costar or Yardi report.
