What are some strategies to establish credibility with commercial brokers for a new REI seeking small multifamily units intending to use business credit for financing?

@James Robertson   I would not worry too much in the small Multi-space.  If you have experience with rentals in the past just talk about those.  I would say the bulk of the 3-10 unit properties are sold by residential realtors anyways.  I will say that having a lender who has already looked at your finances and a letter of credit or pre-approval letter can help.  Often just saying who you are working with and the name and contact number will let the broker know you are actively looking.  ALSO...DO NOT tie yourself to one broker!  Play the field!
